In this release, Meridian has focused on enhancing users’ options for system personalization, career planning, classroom management, certifications, security, interoperability, and support for eLearning standards.

Meridian LMS Fall 2018 release highlights include:
Enhanced Personalization – Gives learners the ability to select topics of interest and receive relevant recommendations based on these interests on their homepage and in the catalog.
Career Explorer provides a “learner-centric” view of career paths and levels, giving employees the means to chart their own career growth. Organizations gain a tool to help reduce turnover and increase learner engagement.
Classroom Management—This version offers enhanced section creation workflows and a streamlined enrollment process, allowing admins to enroll large groups easily. Other upgrades include optimized and expanded grade books with new assignment and content options.
Certifications – Allows learners to certify (or recertify) based upon the number and/or type of credit hours.
xAPI Support—This supports xAPI and the storage of progress in Meridian’s Learning Record Store (LRS) or a client-supplied LRS.
Licensing – Enhanced licensing capabilities allow organizations that sell or distribute content beyond their employee base to increase access to training and content to drive revenue growth.
Security and Interoperability – Key enhancements have been added to bolster security and interoperability, including multi-factor authentication, FIPS 140-2 compliance, and performance improvements to APIs and HRIS data connectors.
