I watched the first season of Narcos in less than three days. I’m not ashamed to admit it. Over the next week I’ll probably knock out the newest season of House of Cards, and my calendar is already blocked off to binge on Orange is the New Black the weekend of June 17th.
Binge-watching is the new norm. TV shows are so good people gobble up episode after episode.
If the rise of Netflix and on-demand video services have told us anything, it’s that people like to be in control of when, where and how they consume information. Those mindsets and expectations still ring true outside the realm of television.
The same things that make television binge-worthy can be applied to your training and development programs. I sat down with Dawn Burke, VP of People at Daxko and Fistful of Talent contributor, and Art Mirrow, former VP of Learning, during the L&D Hangout to dive into what makes learning binge-worthy. Watch the replay now to get some great insights on how to make binge-worthy content. And, while you’re at it, check out the entire L&D Hangout series!
