Meridian Knowledge Solutions recently wrapped up our annual Corporate Kickoff meeting. This year’s theme was “Turning Clients into Fans”. It’s no secret that the learning management systems industry is constantly evolving and reinventing itself. As a leader in this space, we at Meridian must evolve as well.
Led by Meridian’s
Chief Strategy & Operations Officer and Chief Business Development Officer,
Paul Terry and Patrick Devlin, this year’s kickoff focused on the future.
Looking ahead, all employees recognize that evolution is necessary in an
ever-changing landscape. The whole Meridian team came together for a brief recap
of last year and a discussion of the many goals planned for the year ahead.
Collaboration and Knowledge are Key
Energized education and collaborative development were the focus of the event. Breakout sessions mixed colleagues from different departments to give employees insight into other teams’ efforts and the opportunity to brainstorm ideas. Discussions stressed the importance of simplification, interconnectedness, and ways to improve both internal and external communication and knowledge sharing.
A stellar keynote session from Meridian client K12 Inc. provided all with an in-depth look at the many ways the company uses Meridian LMS to train their workforce, manage certifications and compliance and boost retention levels.
Content partner OpenSesame provided Meridian staff with insights into their huge library of course offerings and illustrated the many ways both companies work together to increase value for clients in a wide variety of industries.
Evolution can be intimidating. What worked yesterday may not work tomorrow. But we here at Meridian Knowledge Solutions are one step ahead; and are ready to hit the ground running and continue to turn our clients into fans.
