The SOC 2 audit is a voluntary compliance standard that assesses an organization’s controls and operational processes across many fields related to cloud and cybersecurity. As a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) with customers in both government and commercial sectors, being SOC 2 Type II certified can enhance the credibility and trust in the learning management system (LMS). This certification demonstrates Meridian’s longstanding dedication to security and privacy, and its commitment to protecting its customers’ data and information.
Along with the LMS’s increased reputation and trust, the SOC 2 Type II designation can also improve customer confidence in using the LMS to administer their training programs. SOC 2 indicates that the necessary security measures have been implemented within the LMS, providing customers with confidence that their sensitive data is secure.
