Georgia DCH Wins Bronze Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Award

Reston, VA – September 2, 2020 – The Georgia Department of Community Health, a Meridian Knowledge Solutions client, has won the Bronze Award in the “Best Advance in Creating a Learning Strategy category in the 2020 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards.

The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) is one of Georgia’s four health agencies that serves the state’s population of more than 10 million people.

“We are honored by this recognition from the panel of senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts and executives,” said Kelly Johnson, Director of Human Resources at GA DCH. “Our programs help employees to view learning as a key resource available to advance their careers, rather than just another task on their to do list.”

GA DCH and Meridian’s entry, “GA DCH Boosts Learner Engagement with Employee Learning Week” features the agency’s journey to refine and boost participation in GA DCH’s annual Employee Learning Week for 2019, which provided an effective opportunity to engage and motivate learners in the planning and preparation for their own professional development and career advancement.

Excellence Award winners will be honored at Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Conference on Jan. 26-28, 2021, at the Hilton in West Palm Beach, Florida.
